Anaheim South Recycled Water Project

ASWRP Site Plan

The Anaheim South Recycled Water Project is proposed to replace approximately 850 acre feet of potable water use per year with recycled water.  The proposed project would deliver recycled water from the Orange County Water District’s Groundwater Replenishment System (GWRS) to the southern portions of Anaheim for landscape irrigation, commercial air conditioning cooling towers, and other non-potable uses.  The project would consist of two main components:

  1. A 4000 gallons per minute recycled water pump station with an approximate 130,000 gallon storage tank located near Santa Cruz and Orangewood Avenue.

  1. Approximately five miles of distribution pipelines and a connection to the GWRS pipeline. The proposed pipelines would be installed within the following streets: Orangewood Avenue, Katella Avenue, Harbor Boulevard, Disneyland Drive, and Rampart Street.  The connection to the GWRS pipeline would be near Orangewood Avenue and the Santa Ana River.
