The new and improved Dusk-to-Dawn Lighting Program now offers more ways to obtain high efficiency outdoor lighting to keep your home bright and safe. You can:

Receive up to two (2) FREE dusk-to-dawn LED light fixtures
FREE installation for income qualified customers (income qualifications below)
Purchase a light fixture directly
  • Up to $20 rebate (per dusk-to-dawn LED fixture) if you'd like to purchase a different style

To Receive a FREE Light 

  1. Contact us at 714-939-9020 to schedule an appointment.
  2. When fixtures are received, you will be asked to sign an agreement noting the terms of the program (see program criteria).
  3. You will have 30 days to install your lights.  We recommend using a licensed electrician.  If you're income-qualified, installation can be done for free.
  4. Approximately 30 days after receiving your lights, call 714-939-9020 to confirm installation.
  5. Installations are subject to an inspection.

Program Criteria
  • Participants must be Anaheim Public Utilities electric customers with current and non-delinquent accounts.
  • Lights must be installed within the 30-days period. For new hardwired fixtures it is recommended that participant obtain multiple quotes from licensed electricians and also obtain a permit from the building department for installation.
  • Lights must be maintained and used for five years from installation.
  • Participant must provide access for inspection of the installed fixture(s).
  • Participants are eligible to receive up to two (2) free light fixtures for their residential home.
